All are welcome here at our emporium of fun and funk! "Where folks and art meet." Drop by and say hello! Long ago and far away Tripp’s Store was a community gathering place in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. What was once a country gas station is now a reimagined EMPORIUM: showroom, and folk art gallery that celebrates community, art, books, music, and storytelling.
Founded in 2019 by Tracy Kilpatrick and Danielle Lyn, Tripp’s Store outreach is to support the local artistic community, and culture. Our space hosts classes, workshops and events while also home to our emporium of one of a kind stitched clothing, folk art, books, vinyls, furniture, and vintage finds!
Tripp's Store is home to our own chartered little free library and brand new children's library! We welcome our friendly neighbors to drop by our store to give a book, and take a book!
We are an all inclusive community for artists, creatives, and storytellers to gather, collaborate, grow, educate, and exchange materials during our Tripp's Recycling Materials Swap Saturdays.
